Tan Hill is the highest pub in England at 1732ft ASL. It dates back to the 17th Century. The Inn has a link to radio. To quote from the Tan Hill website, "The wireless became a novelty at the inn in 1930 and Susan Peacock would often take part in radio broadcasts, telling people of the quiet life. This led to hundreds of people visiting the inn out of curiosity."
