Mainly for radios without a separate RX aerial input. This is the simplest and smallest version. I chose to use the relay that W6PQL uses on his projects: see his website which has many other fascinating projects.
The W6PQL method was used to improve isolation - see circuit diagram picture.
Mounting in a 2oz tobacco tin provides good screening and space for lots of circuitry, eg filters, receive amplifier, protection circuitry, decoding, bias T.  NB the height is slightly compromised, ie  it will bow the tin slightly; pcbs can be mounted and stacked sideways. See tobacco tin picture.
