The shack is the heart of the radio club. This is where members can use the club equipment, some of which will be more advanced than they are able to use at home. It is also where the members enter contests on behalf of the club or talk to members unable to attend the club meetings.
The equipment in the shack is:-

Icom IC-746 - HF Transceiver & 50 Mhz
Yaesu FT-290R Mk II - 2m Multimode Transceiver
Yaesu FT-790R Mk II - 70cm Multimode Transceiver

The antennas are located on top of the Town Hall and consist of a 3 element SteppIR beam for 20m to 6m and a triband vertical colinear for 6m, 2m and 70cm. There is also a longwire and ATU for the other HF bands.
