We are delighted to announce the 2013 Rally. Hot on the heels of our first rally we have decided to move the date to the Spring which many people thought would be a better time to hold it and goes back to the original time of year that the rally was traditionally held. The Rally will, again, be at the Hugh Ripley Hall, Ripon HG4 2PT on Sunday 21st April 2013. More info about traders will be released as they are confirmed but feel free to check out our website from time to time for more details. http://www.ripon.org.uk

On the 19th June RADARS will be activating GX4WAB as part of the Worked All Britain Follow The Torch Award. We will be active on 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m and 2m from 1000 until 1700. There is the opportunity to gain 3 WAB squares on the same day as we are relaying from 3 stations all in different squares on that day on different bands. We will try to keep you informed via our website and our Facebook and Twitter feeds as to which bands we are on as conditions on the day dictate. At the moment we are looking to work from first thing in the morning until late into the evening and we look forward to working you!

Ripon and District ARS is celebrating a 100% pass rate for the Intermediate exams held on 15th March. After following a course of training for the last few of months at the club the candidates sat the exam and then waited anxiously for the results. Lead instructor Lee M0LMH did his best impression of an X-Factor judge by stringing out the suspense but was pleased to announce that they had all passed. Well done everyone!
